We have some incredible projects to show you today. What we are MOST excited about is having the talented Jeanette Egemann from Deutschland (Germany) hopping along with us.

Inspiration

So, not only are we hopping with Jeanette, but the theme for the hop is 'Case-ing Jeanette Egemann' This is the card I am Case-ing;

OK - you will have to stick with me on this one ...... as is always the case with me, the way that this card started off is not how it ended. And, speaking of how it ended, here is the result;

I started using a card from the Perfect Days Memories and More Card Pack. Initially, as used on the inspiration card, I cut out some shapes using the Eastern Framelits kit; I tried it in Emerald Envy and Basic Black ..... but didn't use either of them. Then, it occurred to me that the pattern on the card that I selected looked like a Lemon. So, I decided to switch the circle element to the Lemon stamp in the Lemon Zest Stamp Set.

I inked up the stamp in Lemon Lime Twist and then inked the edges using Emerald Envy and cut out using a circle punch. I then mounted this on a Basic Black scallop circle and then again on an Emerald Envy circle, both from the Layering Circles kit. I then mounted this onto the patterned card, carefully aligning with the pattern.

The sentiment is from the Dare to Dream host set. I used Emerald Envy and stamped on Whisper White and mounted on an angle. I then mounted this on a piece of Lemon Lime Twist and then wrapped some lined thread around the card and mounted on a Basic Black card base.

I really like this colour combination. I was inspired to use these colours as they are the colours used in the Perfect Days Memories and More Card Collection.

I really enjoyed using these cards and have a feeling that i will be using them again in the future.
