Hello from Melbourne, Australia | Global Design Project | GDP20

12:00:00 PM

Im so glad that you stopped by today. I made a card today as a part of the Global Design Project. This week, it was a 'Case the Designer' challenge, and the designer is Connie Collins, a talented demonstrator from Nashville, Tennessee USA. Below is the inspiration;

And, here is the card I ended up with;

I am a REAL fan of this Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper. In fact, I love it!

I love Kraft to start with - and these AWESOME colours and patterns are even more AWESOME!

There are some beautiful cards on pinterest which inspired me to try watercolour-ing again. I think if I were to try making this card again, I would make it even more feint. I used Black Emboss on Watercolour paper which gives a matte-like, flat appearance.

Finally, I love the addition of the Burlap and plain Kraft Paper. What do you think?

And, I love the stamp set - I have used it MANY times. It is one of my favourite Sale-a-Bration items - its a 9-piece stamp set called Hello. Remember, Sale-a-Bration items cannot be bought, but earned for FREE with every $90 you spend.

IMPORTANT NEWS:
This stamp set is only available until February 15, so earn it NOW, before its gone forever.

  3. I love this stamp set too Bruno and wish it was staying around for a bit longer! Your water colour focal point looks fab against the burlap and Shine On DSP. Another "shinning" example of your talent!
