Today - Im not playing along with any challenge. I saw a card on Pinterest and I wanted to make something similar - click here for the inspiration. Here is the card that I made today;

I think Im pining for a vacation! We have been on some amazing holidays; Hawaii, Western Caribbean Cruise, Alaska, New York - and next ..... who knows? But, this has certainly got me thinking about it ....... anyway, back to the card.

The starting point was a card from the 'Lets Get Away' Project Life by Stampin' Up! The image is an illustration of the globe. I cut this out using the circle framelits. The accessory pack is real cool. It has a heap of embellishments and other cool stuff that you can use - do you have it? If you don't, click on the image below and buy it NOW!

Check out this COOL offer that is available; if you want the Stamp Set, Project Life card kit and the Accessory pack, you will receive 15% off for the low price of $59 (Australia only). If you would like to take advantage of this offer, scroll to the bottom of this post and click on the BUNDLE.

The sentiment is on the of the overlays from the accessory pack. I decided that it was a little too difficult to read over the globe, so I added a layer of Vellum in between to make it a little more legible.

I decided to use dimensionals under the coloured stripes. I tried it without but it looked HEAPS cooler with them.

I used the 'Tree Builder' Punch for the clouds. The plane is from the 'Lets Get Away' stamp set, which is a cool addition to out collection.

The colours used on the card kit looked awesome together so I used all of the same colours as used on the kit. Ive put together an image to show the colours used all together;
