Freshly Made Sketches #207 - A Sketch by Kim

The sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches this week intrigued me because so much of the card front was covered. So, my goal was to make a Clean and Simple Card using this sketch. Speaking of the sketch, here it is....

And, here is my card....

I really like this card. Like really! A lot!

I confess that I made a mistake. Notice how on the sketch, the two panels are on the right side - after I had stuck it down, I realised I had made the mistake. And, so i decided that it would be 'my interpretation' of the sketch. Lol!

When I was looking through our DSP collection, I came across the 'Go Wild' set and I LOVED it! It has White, Black and Tip Top Taupe - three of my faves. And, the sheet I chose just happened to have all three. So, they were my choice for this card - but WHITE was going to be the star!

I used the circle framelit to cut the 'window' out and affixed the DSP to the black cardstock layer. I then affixed the white top layer to the black layer using dimensionals. The sentiment is also fixed using dimensionals. The sentiment is from the 'Words of Truth' set. I love that set!
